A man sits on a bench after a long day's work, his hair muffled,body stained with sweat,
He sees another Man pass in his car, driving elegantly. I wish I was him, he says to himself, I won't have to work so hard.
Behind him lies a man, crippled from the waist down, with a plate set in front of him,
He relies on the mercy of people everyday to be able to eat and feed, he sees the man on the bench
I wish I was him, he says to himself, I won't have to rely on people, I would be able to work hard to take care of myself
A Woman closes from work, she drives in her car and parks in her house, she looks at a couple nearby and sees the man giving his wife flowers and being romantic, they are all smiling,
I wish my marriage was like theirs, she says to herself, my husband just do his duties, he isn't romantic with me,
She enters her house and her husband welcomes her and she goes in,A woman looks at them from afar off, she had been observing them, her face is all swollen and her eyes dry from so many tears,
I wish my marriage was like theirs, she says to herself, my husband don't perform his duties as a man, instead he beats me up and frustrates me making my life a living hell,
A young boy walks to school with his Mum, his Mum kisses him goodbye, just manage what you have, she says to him, I don't have much to give you, I wish I did.
The boy walks into the store and sees his classmate, his hands full of goodies, he is fat and well nourished,
I wish I was like that boy, he says to himself, his parents gives him enough and he always gets what he wants,
As he walks a shabby looking boy looks at him, he is thin and looks malnourished,
I wish I was like that boy, he says to himself, he has parents who care about him and walks him to school, I don't have a Dad or a Mum, no one looks out for me,
Learn to appreciate what we have, no matter how bad you think you're doing there's someone out there who is going through worse and still living,
Contentment is the key to a happy living and a grateful Soul gives you peace.
